    "ON SEEING THE PERFECT BOY"

After reading the novel "On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning", by the Jaoaness writer, Haruki Murakami, paraded through my memories of my youth.

I remember once when we were students from all school of the University gathered at a political meeting to elect the student representatives to be part of the University Council, I intervened on behaldf of the fourth year of Engineering, with a very fiery speech, calling for radical changes in the educational system. Then I was elected representative to the University Council.

After the meeting, I began to talk about the University with the representative of the school of Law, in that we were, when we suddenly drew our attention the laughter of four girls who were commenting on a lot of fun things for them, they were standing ten meters from where we where and one of them looked at me and called my attention powerfully.

Something unknown was stuck in my heart that urged me to know who she was. I asked my friend if he know where is the school, where she is studying, and what is her name. I told him that she was the perfect girl for me. It gave me some important information.

I spent four days and did not know to meet with her, that when I walked into the library to the distance I saw her coming and I started thinking how to approach her. Something strange happened to me, I was nervous, I never had this happen with other girls. Thought was going to ask if the to accompany it, but then dispose of this argument, I was not anything happening, I was desperate, and she was still moving closer.

She came with a blue dress that highlighted her figure, her black hair gathered into a ponytail and funny, those huge eyes of large eyelashes that I love. When I was no longer thought about more and health, gave she my name and told she that I had seen with her friens near me after the election of representatives to the University Council, with a beautiful smile she told me that is remembered, and congratulated me on my appointment as student representative. We sat on the grass and talked a long time, forgetting that we had to go to class. This was the beginning of a great love between the two. It seemed a dream, a dream come true, we were made for each other.

It took about six month, when suddenly she began ti feel ill and their parents who were hospitalized in a clinic, and then never left. The Doctors diagnosed leukemia. I would see every day, it wore flowers, to tell jokes to smile. I said it will soon heald, and that the two can again be together. But looked increasingly weak. I begged the doctors to heald, not to let die. For the two month she died.

  2. "ON SEEING THE PERFECT BOY"

Several years ago, I traveled abroad to study in the summer. I went to a school where I met many people from all over the world. My first day, the day of registration, it was very hard because everyone I spoke English and I just wanted to find somewhere to speak Latin. While doing the row to take the test for enrollment, reached only to see a Latin guy, and it caught my attention because I could see it was cute and his style of dress was a rebellious boy and his hair was a bit long, I wanted to introduce myself to all forms and talk to, but I did not dare. He was near the beginning of the row and listen to music on his ipod. Finally he got in to the room where he was to take the test and I had to wait for another group of students.
Then classes started and I saw him every day without being realized, but he seemed indifferent. After a few days we were in the computer lab and suddenly he asked me if I know how spell a word in English. After that we became friends and then we fall in love, we were inseparable, we had an incredible chemistry and we had plenty in common. But the summer ended and I had to return, his family had decided to stay in this country and get in to the university. Our separation was sad, but promised to come back to see each other, but we never did it and we lost contact.

  3. This story is a little romantic and sad; it is like love at first sight. Perhaps some people have had an experience like that, but it isn’t my case yet. I think that all us wait to that perfect person, but the perfect person doesn’t exist. I only want to someone that loves me sincerely and I can correspond to him, because sometimes we love to a person that doesn’t love us or vice versa. Somebody exists for us but maybe we don’t meet with person yet or maybe we meet to him already. It only wait and to try to be better person every day of our lives. I think that if somebody exists for me I will meet to him at any time.

  4. One month ago I guided a group of nice Americans guys. That day was Friday and we agreed to meet at Iguana Rock at night.

I went to Iguana with my sisters and my friend Sammy. The Americans were there and we start to talk and dance. My friend Sammy met George and she liked him right away. We left earlier that night but Sammy stayed with him a little more.

The next day she told us what had happened between them, and then is when the love story began.

Sammy and George started to hang out every day to the beach, Iguana, Voqui, or just to eat ice cream and go for a walk at the malecon.

They had such a wonderful time together during those two weeks that he wanted her to go with him to the Unite States of America and keep making their love grow. She also really wanted to go but it was too suddenly and didn´t have the money to go.

The day before he left they went to the beach and spend the whole day there, kissing and tanking about many things, wishing that some day they will meet again. Then the next day she went to the airport to say goodbye and they both cried, it was sad but they promised to be in touch.

This story is similar to Murakami´s short story in some ways. They all didn´t have much time together and thought that that could be true love but couldn´t find out because of adversities.

  5. In the years that I was studying in Quito the university sent students to different places to do practices. My place was Saint Francisco's Museum.

Every day I had to be there at 2:00 pm, near the museum was located a restaurant where I had lunch every day at the same time (1:15 pm).One day the restaurant was full and there wasn't free tables except for the tree spaces in the table that I was, so two boys asked me if they could sat with me, When I saw him he liked me a lot and I said ok. When I finished luch we changed telephone numbers and that night he called me. Since that day he called me or sent me mesages.

Six months later we started a relationship, he was a beautiful person, we had bad and funny moments, it was a very interesting relationship, I was his girlfriend for 3 years but for reasons that I can not tell you, It finished.

People spend our time looking for somebody that we don't kow if exist or not. I don´t believe that the perfect boy or girl exist but I know that each one of us have a person who is wating for us wherever place, we just have to wait the moment and she or he will arrive.

  6. I have my history wich I would like that ended in love, but I´m sure that It won´t.

When I was nineteen years old I met a boy in the University where I studied. He was my classmate only two months and in this time we knew each other. We always were together and He was my perfect boy. After somo weeks we started a relationship, I was really inlove with him. I prefered to be with him and I separeted from my friends, because he and my friends couldn´t stand each others.

After some months we broke because our differences, he liked to do thinks that I didn´t like and I did things that he didn´t like. We had different lifestyles.

The time passed and we have seem and we konw that we love each other but we aren´t able to be together.

Sometimes I think that when the years pass we will accept like we are , but after I see that it is very difficult.
